Located on the municipality of Caraman at 30 km from Toulouse, in the heart of the Lauragais, the Château de Croisillat was owned for 5 centuries by the powerful family De Villeneuve. Their bravery and their sense of honor beside Counts of Toulouse and Kings of France made them very famous.
Destroyed in the 16th century during the wars of Religion by the Protestant armies, the castle was rebuilt following this shady period. Reshaped, its architecture is now witness of the Renaissance of the 19th century with a magnificent chapel classified historic monument.
The park of 11 hectares was before a " jardin a la française ", which shelters trees several times hundred-years-old and terrace ponds.
This place, full of history, takes up with the medieval traditions of hospitality.
